  3. I sure do like the look of full discs & painted rims with wide whites.
What is the best source for full disc caps.
I've seen a few in swap meets but they are always beat to shit & way to much $.

they are, like all old car parts, where you find them.
if you want nice originals then be prepared to pay what they are worth.

  9. I'm not looking for a deal, I would pay up for a nice set.
My point is I can't find anything nice let alone a set of them.
Is there a company that reproduces these?
I would rather have a nice set of repops, than pay anything for a hammered out set of originals.

  10. United Pacific & other companys have been making repro caps for over 30 year now.
Have a look at Moon's website as they have a variety on there

    Hope this helps

  14. When you said "moon" style disc", I had in mind bonneville style covers.
Speedway also has a great selection.
    Thanks!

  18. Before Spinners, there were Sombreros and Full Moons like this, that was the deal in L.A. in the 40's and early 50's

    bringing this thread back up,
I think I've settled on a wheel cover and tire combo
going with L78-15 and 5.60-15 tires with '53-'54 Olds covers.. for now anyway :)
