I sure do love the look of thin whitewalls and 5 spoke mag wheels.

Looking good Tony, that's going to be a killer car. Theres a Palomar Red 425 hp 4 speed '64 around these parts that's pretty cool, the guy has had it FOREVER. I should dig through my photos, theres probably a pic somewhere, I see it at shows every couple years or so...

I looked on my computer, don't see one. I will dig out my photo albums, and try to find it. A guy at the end of my street owns this '62 409/409.

Nice 62! Hard to beat black!

Havent bothered updating because even im bored with what im doing.
    But, here is one anyway..

Got most of the main body ready for high build primer. I have about half the roof left then on to the bolt on panels.
There's a lot of damn realestate to cover with these boats! Lol
I skim the whole car and block til my fingers bleed and 99% of the filer ends up on the floor...
But the labor pays off when the finish coat go's on..
    Nice, straight and flat.

    Been slow going Umbra.
I bought a house a few months ago and with the planning for that and the actual purchase, then working on it i havent had much time for the 63.
I'll be back on it real soon though because lack of garage time is killing me!! Haha

    Thanks for askin

I hear you there. I have been down with the flu for a week, sick as a dog. So this afternoon, I am downstairs looking at the t-bucket body I finally brought home last weekend. I am still sick as hell, but figured it wouldn't hurt to just take a piece of chalk and circle some of the high and low spots for later. So I am looking at this high spot and tear on the top edge of the side of the bucket, I realize its high because the reveal is pushed in a bit. Next thing you know, I have a hammer and dolly, sweating and coughing and hacking, bumping the reveal out and lining up the sides of the tear. Then I started working on the flange where cowl top goes on. I had to stop myself and go back upstairs or I'd probably still be down there wheezing and hacking...

I can relate to that! Pushing through being sick just to spend a time working on something, its a way of life. Haha

@porkshop nothing to report yet. Now that our season is changing towards winter it'll be a lot easier for me to get out and back to work on it....and man i really want to get back to it.

I can't wait tell my 63 shows up.
Good friend is hooking me up with it but I never seen it.
Guess when it shows up then I will know what way to go with it.
Real good chance it will have a W in it (just happen to know a guy that has some).

Finished her in 1995. All stock 327 with power glide. AM radio still in the dash and cd in inside the glove box. Shirts gives a little of the traditional look.

NICE build. Keep the updates coming. Too old and too sick to do this anymore. Love the work man

    Lookin good guys!
Gary, that's one of the looks mine will have. Very simple dog dish style, and still one of my favorite looks on these cars.
Tony, your SS is one sharp rag!

Thanks fellas. I'll be back at it soon. Was over there last night cleaning up the garage so I can start working on it again.
It neeeeeds to be finished! Lol

    What's up PC!
Doing alright man, just been real busy with "life" so haven't been on here much.
The 63 hasent really gone much past my
Last post because of it which sucks.
But, I'm hoping this winter to get back at it and hopefully get it in paint, or at least ready for it.
The main body is ready for high build primer and blocking...just gotta get to the bolt on panels.

Man thanks for checkin up, really appreciate that! Hope all is well for you too!
