Art & Inspiration HAMB Worthy Screen Saver Photos

There are lots of great photos on The Hamb of cars and some of them are even better than great...they are amazing works of art!
I saw this photo taken by Tom Davison at the Bayou Roundup and I saved it and it is now my screen saver... it draws you right in to the arena as if you are there.

By screen saver do you mean the "wallpaper"? Wallpaper is the permanent image that you see when you look at your desktop. You icons and shortcuts sit on top of your computer's wallpaper. These images are best displayed when they are the same size (or at least proptionately the same) as your monitor's resolution (e.g. 1920x1080). Square images (like the snow photo above) typically don't display very well as they're often stretched, squeezed or tiled or tiny centered; producing undesirable displays.

A screensaver is an older term that refers to a program that starts when your computer is idle for a period of time and would traditionally involve random patterns designed to "save the screen" from burning out pixels and causing ghosted artifacts 'bleeding through' on old style glass monitors. Screen savers aren't needed anymore and are used these days more often to display random images most commonly (but not necessarily) from your "My Picures" folder.

Just thought I'd clarify this often incorrectly confused/used term.

 

The photos I posted are in My Pictures folder and cycles as a slideshow randomly after 10 minutes of nothingness...Just stuff I wish I had in the Hotrod/Custom stable...Its okay to dream...Your Avitar is a nice one for the saver@32ford5

This what I use on my desk top. Borrowed it from the Professor over on the Ford Barn. Not exactly a hot rod but still pretty cool, IMO.
