You're welcome 48fordnut. Thanks a lot for both of your comments. I love monochrome and I know there are a lot of other fans of it out there.

For several years, we have seen Mr Greenberg's photos that have been viewed in place of actually attending the event....great substitutes!! This thread is even better since I got to attend the HRHC this year....the photos document great memories...THANKS!!!

When, if ever, was the last time you saw a 308 CI Hudson Twin H engine as nice as this one out of the '53 Hudson Hornet that was running the Hill Climb this year?

  10. This was one of my favorite cars of the event. I wasn't expecting anything like it and was very intrigued by it!

You're welcome Frank. I am glad you enjoy them. There are definitely more coming. Thank you.

One of mine too, DesmoDog.. My very first ride, home from the hospital after being born or hatched or whatever, was in a dark green 1953 Hudson Hornet with this very same engine.

And here is another one that got me really excited, even though I did not get the chance to get a really excellent shot of it. It still has it's flathead and it ran the hill. I am not sure, but I think this was a real '39 Merc ragtop, not a home made one.

  28. I really dig that vintage-ized photo.
That particular car/background play into the treatment very well.

Thanks Bill - I love doing those too. I have a lot more of them, but obviously don't post them all because I don't want people getting bored seeing too many different version of the same car.

Also - this thread still has a lot to go, but I have to work on my new thread too for the 2017 Swindlers Poker Run that I think you will all enjoy as well. I just started that (1 week late:() and you can check it out at https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/photos-from-the-2017-swindlers-poker-run.1080905/
