It reminds me of the brown Doyle Gammell coupe in Los Angeles in 1963.

Thanks for taking the time to post Tom! I always enjoy your coverage, the nature shots @ Jungle Gardens were a nice departure...

Thanks for the Great shots. Some one sure likes that 47/48 Buick. I know the feeling. Had one like it once. Was on a complete '73 Caprice chassis. I left the visor on mine, liked that my self. Stupidest damn thing I ever did selling it. This shot of it came off the web when it was for sale again. It still had the stock bumpers when I had it and no skirts, ( don't like skirts at all) and the lakes pipes had been added, (don't care for those either), and oh yeah, it had True spokes on it, all Buick's should run wires. Just my opinion of course. upload_2019-12-2_15-17-44.png upload_2019-12-2_15-27-30.png

My apologizes for kind of hijacking your thread, its just that I like these as rods so much, I just can't help myself.
Reason for selling: $$$$ needed for my avatar car.

  28. 350 sbc, 3 Deuce's, magneto, 4 speed trans. It's a work in progress, but then true hot rods are never done!

Does anyone know if the blue 41 Plymouth coupe is Joe Cabral's?

Just fab images Tom, love the image of "The Jewel" in front of the lounge. This car was originally a build of Omaha musician Joe Cabral of the Iquana's band so it is special to an Omaha guy.
