The club has various special picks which are the awards. They honored me with a pick this year and my choice was Reggie Hill's '34. I loved this car and its attitude the minute I saw it at my first Roundup and I can't get enough photos of it! Here's a favorite shot from this show that I got downtown last night. My son and I spent a pleasant day at the round up. An easy
two hour drive from our home in Metairie. The cars parked outside
on the grassy area were outstanding as well as the ones in the "dome"
This is a very nice venue for an event. Free parking, and and a low admission fee all enhance the day . I did find the equipment vendors
to several less than last year. The food vendors as well. Quite a few of
the vehicles in the dome were attended by their owners and we enjoyed
a few nice chats about the builds, histories, and particulars of the vehicles.

Check out that blue 34 coupe, a friend of mine "Dominique Papagny" had one that looked identical
in High School. The car had white tuck-n-roll, Dominique passed away years ago, someone found
the car and bought it, from his Mother's back yard in Fresno. To this day, I wish I would have known
it was still there. Thanks Tom.....

Lafayette legend Lil' Buck Sinegal and CC Adcock joined in with feature band, Mystic Knights of the Sea. Here Buck trades licks with Charlie Sexton. Tabasco TD (1 of 2).jpg

Tommy Mc Lain with CC Adcock. Tommy is the very definition of Soul Man.
