Anyone showing up with some pin stripe or lettering skills ? I think the cup needs a bit of "something" like the the name Hairy Doker added to it before we start it's journey... anyone ??

I bought race fuel at the track last year. I would be surprised if it was not available this year.

HILARIOUS!!!...and very cool! Perhaps needs a wig or some other hair-like material attached, maybe some kind of tassles or fringe, since it is the "Hairy" Doker Cup. Now, for some reason, I feel like some stir-fry...weird!

Well the day is finally here, time to go to the Rock and see some good old racing. I skipped work today and I'm headed to the track. Hold all my calls, do not disturb.

Another great show! Me and my kids along with my dad had a great time. Thanks to the Meltdown guys for making it a great weekend! A VERY special thanks goes out to Paul Zieledorf the owner and driver of the Hairy Hauler, Not only did he make my daughters day by letting her sit in the truck he then asked her if she wanted a ride! He took her on an 1/8 mile blast and I still cant get the smile off her face! They ran against Okiedoker she will never forget it. THANKS! To all those that were there and that I got to talk to see ya's all next year, and hopefully my Chevelle will be running by then.

Well, the Fallout was a great time. The weather could not have been better as it was in the 60's the whole weekend.

Just about everyone I know made their fastest passes ever.

I am pleased to share that I brought home the Hairy Doker cup after beating the Hairy Hauler in 2 out of 3. I ran a personal best of a 10.4 and finally hung the front wheels!

Fall Fall Out was awesome. This event was the most fun I've had racing !!

The MDA put on another great event. Well organized and well managed. Rock Falls Raceway and their staff were awesome - I was one of those folks with a personal best. Even being handcuffed to no faster than 10.0 (No NHRA license) the Scout tore off a 6.05/117 in the 1/8th. We broke nothing that can't be easily fixed. The BBQ was great - thanks. Meeting new folks and sitting around the fire was a great way to end the day. Even my wife had a great time and enjoyed all the goings on and after hours festivities.

It was my honor to present Jeff and the Okie Doker with the Hairy Doker Cup. He's already expressed his intentions to pass it onto someone at the Uncle Sam's Pie Eating event. I guess you should start matching up now and get to trash talking in hopes Jeff takes notice... that is if he decides to hand it over to a match race winner... there's always biggest wheel-stand on pie crusts, worst haircut, best BUG .... It's Jeff's call now !!

And ... I won the engine (Wow !!). I just finished talking to Tom at Suburban GM about where to ship it. He was absolutely blown away by the event, the cars and level of commitment by the MDA

    We'll be back next year

My wife was having fun also.

Carly also had a personal best with a 12.90 @102 MPH! She kept 'Ol Noodle arm on his toes! The MDA really did an awesome job with this event! My brother brought his Pontiac Ventura and made 25 passes! His best was a 11.44@114 MPH! This car was built by our uncle in the late 60's and after he passed My brother bought it from our aunt. The car sat in my brothers Garage for about 15 years. After he saw Carly racing at the Meltdown Drags last summer he decided it was time to bring the old Poncho back to life! He said he will be back! This was the best time he has ever had at a drag strip! Well Done Guys!!!!
