Dago, out of interest, how do you find the drivability of those front tractor tires. Can only imagine how bad they'd be on our shit rural roads here. Standard bias are a handful.

When I had my Deuce roadster built in late '09, I intended to buy another Wescott body. I had owned one in '80 which I sold to Jimmy Starr from Ft.Worth, I believe. Anyway, Wescott wanted $9500 for their roadster and I ended up with a Brookville for $10,100, brand new. Otherwise, I would be driving a Tupperware today, as they say. Wescotts are top notch, but $600 made up my mind. P.S. I see your moredoor at Bastrop and Austin. It's first class, AND I love the extra doors.

To be honest I have only driven it about 20 k's they felt ok for that short drive, but a friend had a set on a Deuce Vicky & drove it from Sydney to Melbourne & said they handled great. Only problem is they wore out in about 2,000 k's

Here's my current project, just getting back to work on her. Hope to drive it next year. Used UPAC 32 ford steel and wood pieces to strengthen up the body, steel dash and drip rails too. IMG_2561.JPG IMG_2562.JPG ATTACH=full]3630674[/ATTACH] 005.JPG IMG_2236.JPG

Anyone know the quality of TRC bodies? They are the old Downs body molds that have been restored. They assemble the doors/trunk on the actual chassis so the fit it good. Prices are great for their package deals. Anyone built one?

Just ordered my '32 5 window body Monday from New Age Motorsports. Their bodies have rain gutters, stock type firewall, roll down door windows, roll down back window, flip out windshield, working cowl vent, external door hinges in the proper location, trunk drain system like original, original style trunk latch.....hell, the front floor section even has a woodgrain pattern in the bottom side! Think they are about as close to stock appearing as you can get in 'glass. They are also available in 3" chop or stock height. Only thing missing is the actual opening for the cloth top but they are thinking about adding that some day. Looked at the product (18 hour drive each way) and placed the order. Also getting a Pete and Jake chassis to go under it last week. I don't have 20 years of life left to gather parts so I'm taking some shortcuts. Mine will have the 4 piece Rootlieb 25 louver Henry hood, Brookville shell, stock gas tank and Wheels Vintique series 14 wheels. Going for the look as much as possible.

Take the sides off at least. You need to show off the FORD powerplant :)

Chassis is home! Have a lot of parts ready to go. Should be getting the body in the spring. Said it would be April before they built it. Routing the exhaust and fuel lines while I wait.
