That's so cool. The John Gerber Tribute speedster is the tits. I love the long arm friction shocks mounted that way. Looks like they are having tons of fun.

To me this is one of the most laid back and fun events here in Germany. Mike Lange and his boys are putting up an awesome show . He is always on the PA commenting the races, which is hilarious.. The 58 Impala for example is a very nicely built race car, ... And you can camp right next to the track...

  14. Why can't I get anyone else in this country interested in building and "racing" these style stockcars?

I viewed the film from Southern California. It brought back many memories of Carrell Speedway, Gardena Stadium, and Ascot Park. I wish I had been in Germany to experience these cars in person. That was a great event. VIVA DEUTSCHLAND!

After I forwarded that to you I was wondering when you would post it and share it. I spent the mid 60's turning wrenches for Uncle Sam in Karlsruhe Germany makes me wish I could visit again, I know the Bier & Brats at the concession stand will be good too! They do great Rockabilly there too!

The T bird and the Impala both could use a stronger Right Front spring and a lot more camber. Looks like fun I sent this link to the Georgia Auto racing hall of fame guys and they liked it very much.. Bobby...

It has been advertised as a half mile track in the race program but I honestly doubt somebody really measured the true length, hahaha
All the times are taken by hand and it is more about fun than split seconds
