Did you film this thing like you were talking about doing the last time I was out at your place? I haven't got anywhere near that much done in the last 5 years!

I'm thinking a rough and ready model a coupe with zoomies and a cage. Maybe it's time to gather some parts.

Did you ever post-up the video? This was an awesome idea and well executed. Thanks for posting it.

I never edited it down to size. Life got in the way, and forgot all about it.

  20. Please do this again! I'd love to come help. I have a sister in Spokane I could crash with.

I need a model a body to get things rolling.

  22. Body-wise, all i have are scraps & pieces but i plan to stitch them together eventually into a coupe. I have about 90% but every piece is rough. Everything is in KC though. You guys up north seem to have access to some cherry stuff out of Montana. Color me jealous here in the salt belt.

I will find something. I really like using a roadster just because I don't have to chop it or make windows.

I've been watching you tube videos of a group that plans things out then they do a get together for a full day and put the rides back on the road(minus paint, interiors, etc). it is amazing how many get together for it between builders, cooks, spectators, etc. they donate $100 each and then pay the people back that brought the vehicles and or parts for the event. Whatever is left they donate to a local charity, usually a children's hospital. then at the days end then whoever stayed and worked on it all day gets their name put in a hat and the winner gets the vehicle to finish.

They are mostly off topic vehicles for here but they did do a few older trucks. I can't believe they get so many involved that work well together and they all seem to have a good time and a great barbeque on top of it. Even with everything laid out it surprises me they can do engine swaps, brakes, body mods etc in just 1 day. well maybe with that many people it doesn't but what amazes me is everyone having fun and no one getting upset about this or that, they worked well as a team.

Hope you find the right roadster for this.

I was always a lone wolf builder but might have to rethink this a little more after seeing your build and those on you tube.

We took all of the profits last time and devided them up amongst the guys that built it. Everyone made over a grand for thier weekend efforts.
