    Well, I went to Central City Colorado last week end and, what do ya know.... there was a big ol’ gathering of old jalopies, hot rods and custom cars. Not to mention a ton of great people. The Hot Rod Hill Climb was a blast!!! first car I snapped a photo of basin a lot across from our hotel. A lady even posed next to it so I had my inspiration for a sketch to post this week...

    Hello,
    Back in June, I was invited to the Lions Dragstrip Museum opening. Since I literally, grew up in and around Lions and the Westside of Long Beach it connected instantly. I also had a vested interest, as my Lions Drag Racing films were being shown at this event. It was fun and brought back a ton of memories. As I wandered all over the Price Transfer Automobilia and the Lions Museums, I was amazed at the portrayal of the hot rods and drag racers. These photos portray the cars in a different light, like "Toys in The Attic"...Lifesized.
