Hot Rods Define BOP??

Here are my Quadrajets; Pontiac (sold), Buick and Chevy. I see the little differences now.

 

cad did change the pattern for the 1968 472. i found that out when trying to replace my bad 1967 transmission that was in my 41 with a cad 429.

 

Also when they used the diesel V8 in the 70s and 80s they used the BOP bell housing pattern. Joe

 

Dan Seals wrote a song called BOP. Maybe someone can post a link.

To think they were building our history...or should I say mine.

 

Your right but only after they were sued by a woman who bought a Pontiac with a sbc in it and was furious that it never had a Pontiac engine ( I wonder if she knew the difference)
