Sorry it's been so long. Almost 5 years to be exact. Just a quick update, I had gotten a little burned out on the Willys build, so I took a break to finish my shop, build a few other cars including the '64 Polara, a 1971 6 brl GTX and a '68 Hemi GTX that we found in a storage unit in California where it had been since 1985. Also lost both my parents in the last two years. What was supposed to be a little break turned into a 5 year hiatus. Anyway, I dug the Willy's out this weekend and am going to get back on it this winter. I am dedicating the build to my Dad, who raced a B Gas Willys coupe in the early 60's. So I'm back and there will be new updates. Here's a pic of it's hiding spot and what was under all that shit.

Sorry to hear about your parents! But glad you're getting back to the Willys build soon!

Sorry for your loss but glad to see you back. Can you post some vintage pictures of your dads B Gas Willys Coupe if you have any? Are you going to build the pickup to be like his coupe?

Thank you. Unfortunately Dad wasn't much for pictures. The only two photos that I knew about have gone MIA. The car was raced in Northwest Oregon. If anybody has pictures of a 1941 Willys coupe, yellow with a black stripe over the roof, steelies on front, Halibrands on rear, running a blown SBC in B Gas at Scappoose, Portland, McMinnville or Madras 1959 - 1961, please let me know. Not going to do a replica. Going to be heavy flake silver with blue windows. But it did have Dad's blessing.
