Hoarding 101: 1932 Ford stuff, or any stuff you like, you get to look at it and live with it, it always has value, emotional and monetarily, not always true with stocks or other investments. Bob

Deuce parts - you need to have at least two of everything - may a few more of some items... IMG_20170915_200249.jpg IMG_20170915_200358.jpg IMG_20170915_200417.jpg IMG_20170915_200435.jpg IMG_20170915_200448.jpg IMG_20170915_200702.jpg

That reminds me, didn't someone find an old home made wrecker that had a bomb made out of Deuce rails? Bob [IMG]

  10. I see now why original deuce grille shells are so expensive and hard to find. Most of the guys posting on this thread have a wall full of them. Where's the rest of the cars?
My pocket watch collection doesn't take up near as much space..☺

Question on the '32 Grill Wall Hangers: Only originals that Henry made are wall quality right? It would seam silly to hang up repops. Could we start another thread and get a total count on carless grills? I've only got one at this time. Bob

Just for the hell of it .......are any of you hoarders out there willing to part with a closed car dash?
I found a guy who has about a dozen of them and shells laying around, but like so many others, he won't part with a thing. Sad part is he doesn't own and don't even like '32's.

HRP- I thought I had a problem until I saw this thread. Now I feel there is room to collect more before it's time for therapy ....

I can't afford to horde old Henry tin. I have about 90% of the parts for my two current unfinished 32 projects and a bunch of stuff to start a on the next one(28/29 Av8 roadster) then there's a few things that go towards a 60s East Coast Show type dream.
I have mention to my wife multiple times that if I keel over tomorrow or something from like a crash or aneurysm. PLEASE contact anyone on the HAMB so this stuff goes to a good home not a scrap yard. I stress that there's a lot of money out there even if it takes work to unload. At least put it towards an electric car for the kids to get to college and learn something useful. Like so many others before I want better for my kids. I've lowered the bar real good so they don't have to try very hard

That's not even mentioning all the valve covers piled up.
That one definitely would have been heading to the parking lot with me Danny.

After which I would have went back in and presented my receipt and said I needed my order changed to go.:D

I used to be a hoarder but I'm down to a 1/2 dozen nice grilles and shells, a couple firewalls, and a few trinkets plus 5 running driving deuces in my garage.

When I was younger I hung out at a shop in San Diego called norm Francis streetrods. Norm was a real neat guy. He had a collection of grill shells that went all of the way around his shop. I would say 60+ shells. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. I see many of you guys have done the same.
