Beautiful roads. That's traveling the way it should be done. Taking time to see the country you're driving through.
I think we need a feature on that Deuce 4-door! I love that part of the country. Those are some of the funnest roads in the US to travel with beautiful views everywhere you look.
Teach'm car was featured in street rodder about 2 years ago. The caddy is ElBombo here on the HAMB. both of these guys I have known for over 20 years and are great guys to hang with and build some bad ass cars.
Sweet Seedan and a Cool Cad, what's not to like?! Great pictures and some great memories for all concerned.
Have noticed both the cars in photos popping up every few hours from Colorado. The photos in the story are enough, I think, to convince anyone that they need to be driving their cars to Colorado next year
Now THAT is a great wheel and tire combo. Refreshing. Great story and pics. Thanks for sharing both. Time on the road in old junk is just so much more rewarding.
A good friend from Maine has been living in that area for 20 yrs. We're heading out there in the spring. The ride they took is "tripping" for sure!!!...... Mark
Made the trip from the west side on Saturday. Left late , missed the snow on Vail. It was melted by the time we came through. Great day,Great venue!
Ryan, that sedan is a work of art. Mike, it was really good to see you. My wife now wants a '53 caddy. She fell in love with yours.
I just returned from the 5th similar trip involving blokes from the U.S and Canada. Logged 3300 miles through. WA, OR, MT, ID, UT, AZ & NV. ...not to mention some started from CA, some from BC Canada. Our motto is "if drivin fast, salty language, or beer offend you, maybe you better pass." the 2017 Hot Rod Hill Climb is probably old news to some people at this point, but I thought I would post some pictures from our trip home. We decided to make our way West into Utah, and then head South through Moab, Monument Valley, etc. We did 2,060 miles over the week we were gone, and other than @El Bombero getting a cracked windshield, the cars ran great. @Nicks Hot Rod Garage and his group put on a great event, and hopefully we'll be back next year with different cars. @Ryan
Great shots, looking at some of our national treasures through the windshield or over top of cool cars.
