Been trolling the board for awhile, time to introduce myself and say hey. Cars owned include a 54 Ford Mainline Tudor, 60 Caddy Coupe, 67 Olds Cutlass Coupe, 77 TA, and now the 53 Ford Mainline Tudor pictured in my Avatar. Bought it here in Houston last year and have spent long hours on it in the garage getting it ready to roll. Still lots to do. The car retains its original drivetrain, and runs like a top...only 70k original miles. Set up like a traditional mild custom of the early 60s. Occasional participant at the Niftee 50ees cruise-in/show in Spring, TX on Saturday evenings, and past fan of the Day of the Drags in Holland (wish that was still going on!). Looking forward to getting/sharing info and meeting other members at the LoneStar Roundup in 2018.
Welcome from MA. I have a '60 Cad too, nice compact little sports car, ez to park in the city, great on gas. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
Welcome from big D ! Just heard the staff at Little River are hosting they're own Day of the Drags this year based on the one formerly hosted by the Kontinentals. Looks like it's worth checking out. Sent from my SM-J727T1 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Welcome to the HAMB from a brother Texan. You can find ANYTHING you will ever want to know about rides right here. Now, for the trolling. Just wondered if the '53, or if you still own it, the '54 is maybe for sale?
You mean it spins all over the road? Nice looking ride, welcome from NY. You should join the '52-'59 Ford sub-forum.
Not since I put in the new front suspension/steering pieces. Thanks for the heads up. I'll check out that forum.
