I'm heading out from KC at dark-thirty tomorrow AM, haven't been to the Greenfield meet for several years.
Not in the picture but not far from that shot was a 32 roadster (not for sale), it wasn't a show car either, had some rough edges but I'd have been happy to drive it.
The only pic I took there..... I can't stand it when people don't know how to spell Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Walked around there yesterday. The 32 would take a LOT of work but there has been a lot done on it. SPark
I distinctly remember freezing my ass off every year at Greenfield and a few years with snow. Didn't it used to be in March? Or was that the Freemont Nebraska thing? -Abone.
I walked by those cars four or five times. I didn't even look at the price, I knew they were well beyond my skill set
Always been in September (same weekend actually) for ever. Went there the past two years .Sort of spread out ,with lots of vacant spaces between vendors. I was there early Friday, both years, as ALL buyers should be but the vendors weren't there yet. It was just OK for me. Like all swap meets it was better a long time ago when I was there in the past.
Even being pieced together, 20k doesnt seem that bad for a complete looking deuce coupe, roller on frame and full fendered. If its got a title too, seems very fair. Sent from my LG-M153 using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I think there is one in Lincoln Nebraska in March (or so) never been to it, Don't like to be cold Fremont can be chilly but I don't ever remember snow, I just looked the Fremont meet up, it is always the fourth Sunday in September, it can be chilly.
Yeah, that's Lincoln, Jeff....in fact one year I walked Speed Bill across a glacier of ice when one of the toilets froze and burst...ice was 4 inches thick! I was afraid Bill was gonna slip, fall and bust a hip. Drove home in a snow storm that year. BTW, I didn't make it to Greenfield this weekend....our A/C took a dump and one of our toilets broke! Man, I gotta lose some weight.
