Found this side mirror walking the swap meet of MD's Jalopy-a-Rama (great show). When I saw it. I was reminded of the jet molding on my 55 Chevy wagon so I grabbed it for $10. Cant find a symbol/mark/number/maker. Wouldn't mind knowing what it is so I can chase one for the passenger side.I think late 50s Ford/Merc. Friend thinks Mopar. Ideas?

  6. Most likely aftermarket, but Chevrolet did make a "peep" mirror for the '55-'59 TF Panel Trucks, and they are being reproduced:

The "Bomb" guys would know. Put it on one of their websites and see what happens.

    Don't know the "Bomb Guys".

Its very nice quality and has good weight. Didn't think about aftermarket, but that would explain lack of markings or numbers. Looks so Ford to me though :)

Nice find. The fluting would go well with the fluted accessory gas door guard and door handle shields.
