So, I've come to the conclusion that the Doane Spencer roadster is the best looking Deuce ever. Yup..... ever

This is a great race and show. Gone to it many times, mostly on Friday. Less crowds and walking through the pits, watching time trials. On Sunday no racing but a concourse show. Relaxing under a tree on the hill watching cars go by what could be better.

American crowds seem quite civilized , sitting there enjoying the cars in their deck chairs.

Compared to the thirsty Aussies anyway :D

During the 70's and 80's we spend many weekends at the races at Limerock.
The Formula Atlantic and Formula Ford plus GT-1 cars races were my favorites.

I can also remember the partying that took place sometimes all night long which reminded me of Watkins Glen.
Limerock is one of the most beautiful tracks to visit.
