I have done $3000 worth of improvements on my car for the HillClimb. I had the time of my life last year, and am bringing my whole family this year.

So looking forward to the Reliability Run. This is what it's all about, enjoying your vintage tin. Haven't been on the OMG road yet but will not miss it this year. We ended up by ourselves last time and somehow missed the OMG road. I'm making sure to hang with a group this time. I DON"T WANNA MISS IT! This is the event of all event's to attend!

I've got my flights... but haven't rented a car yet. I wonder if they rent '27 roadsters on '32 frames at the airport????

There are probably rooms in Central City and Blackhawk. My wife and I stayed at the Lady Luck last year. I would start looking there. I believe all the rooms are gone at the host hotel The Reserve.
Thought I was going to have to change plans and drive the Model A. Was adding clutch fluid to the Hudson last night and when I was tightening the plug I unknowingly leaned against the bypass oil filter line and broke it. It was probably the original line. AAHHHHHH! Well couldn't get one made by the time we leave on Thursday but one of the ol' timers at NAPA rounded up some fittings and hose and now it's ready for the road. Way excited to be at the HRHC again. Just have to control that excitement on the drive down so I don't push the '51 too hard. Probably been 30+ years since this car has been on a trip of any significant distance.

Made it to Cenral City! Actually staying in Blackhawk, we were bombing around in the Jeep (white four door wrangler) and ended up on the same route as the reliability run. Saw a few cars out and about on that and later today in town. Probably going to head back to town tonight to check things out.
