Last one for today, featuring Tony's well traveled (?) roadster.

As far as I know it is. Currently being rebuilt with body being done at present. I think the chassis/running gear has been done for awhile but Con had trouble finding a bodyman who wasn't booked out.
I think it is Gursanki but I could be wrong?

Yes Simon I believe it is.
Thanks for that Pat. I would say that the '32 3W on the Custom Rodder cover at the top of page 116 would definitely be inspiration for your new build.
    Here's a new cover I just completed.

If it wasn't for the like button, this thread would be dead and buried.
Here's a new cover for those who may be interested.

  16. I think the like button may have slowed the HAMB threads down a bit to be honest, people seem to just click the button instead of commenting. Although some threads like the Friday art show and Sunday models are better without the clutter of a bunch of "nice" or "cool" comments.

Ah well I guess I am just old school and still use my PC.

You got it mate, but they're all excellent.
I hope that workshop has a lot of spares to fix my bucket ha
The black HopUp of the street race is something else! Dig Tony's roadster uptop of this page too, and your 5W all dirty, very cool.

Are the house renos done for the time being mate? Miss seeing the shed updates.

    Keep up the good work
    Pat

    Thankyou Pat.
That 3W looks perfect. I will have to work it into a cover for you Pat. Maybe later today.
Still working on the renovations, I am deep into the lounge room at the moment. I probably do 6 hours a day on it.
The covers allow me a different type of creativity. I think I am for the most part getting them very realistic. There is always the occasional one that stands out for me and I guess different one's for others.
    OK enough of that.

Patto that is one cool 3 window, I love the classy custom splash apron and unique one off dropped headlight bar, one definitely not done by PWood!

Thanks Tom. The splash apron is different, not sure I like it because it messes with where the grille insert ends, sought of.
Here you go Pat, not one of my best covers, but cool just the same.

Couple of quality coupes there Geoff nice work.
Good to hear the house is going well.
You're really very good at the covers and photoshop chops look seamless, very cool.

Tom that engine is looking awesome. Forgive my lack of knowledge, but is that a Nash dizzy with a different cap to make it double plug for the Hogans? A friend up here runs Hogans on his Blown methanol FED that hauls ass

After some opinions, I pulled the fenders and bits off my roadster and changed the rear wheels.
I'm in two minds about running hubcaps all round or not. Thoughts?
I think I like it better without them at all but not sure if that's just how it was for so long that I got used to it. IMG_4704.jpg

Definitely hub caps with no trim rings

  29. Your roadster looks great either way Pat but as to the hubcaps I see the high clearance wheels as being all business and without the fenders or any hubcaps it looks like it's rolled straight off the dry lakes.

PMoore your question is most Welcome! Knowledge sharing is what makes our great lifestyle such a pleasure ! This is an original "Twin-Ignition" Nash points distributor which is run with two sets of plugs/cylinder from an NOS Autolite dizzie cap, points, condensers and coils operating from a single distributor. This is a twin V8 version originally offered by Nash from 1930 to 1933 in the Advanced and Ambassador Eight models.

I have over time become so transfixed with flathead ignitions the endless variety fascinates me, going out on a limb here but I don't think there is any other motor make that offers such a diverse variety?
