  9. I insert pigment into human beings dermis, and have owned/operated eight different studios over 36 years.
Occasionally, I feel the need for a break, and have driven trucks, do concrete work, and detail cool cars.
For the last seven years, I also helped one of my old staff raise her daughter, as she has head injuries. (The mom) Then she discovered meth, so I'm now living on my own, house sitting my young cousins home, as he decided to go and see the world.
I run my current studio exclusively, so I have lots of free time, and fuck all money.

  10. I wrote this 12 years ago. Since then, I retired and worked retirement jobs driving plumbing supply delivery truck, mechanic at our local zoo [Henry Doorly zoo...rated best in the country] and I now drive the shuttle van for a local Chrysler/Dodge dealer 3 days a week. 18 hrs a week is enough for me.

I used to be a hazardous material certified truck driver, purchasing agent, marketing agent, mechanical engineer, electrician, painter, mechanic, machine operator, machinist, heavy equipment operator, book keeper, environmentalist, cowboy, animal nutritionist, feedlot operator, welder, carpenter, plow jockey, jack of all trades, master of none..........I retired from a lifetime of farming three years ago, now I can't seem to get anything done. My life has never been boring but I am somewhat beat up. I turn 70 next month, hopefully I recover and I can enjoy retirement for a while.

  16. For the last five years, nuthin'. For the 35 years prior to that, locomotive engineer. And to dispel a common misconception, we don't drive trains here in the USA just like pilots don't drive airplanes. Only the British drive 'em.

  17. Only the management called us pilots bus drivers, because they always wanted to screw us out of more money when the time came for contract negotiations. I am retired now, and living off the proceeds of all the hotel soap I brought home.

Used to be a comms electronic tech. Now "a retired gentleman of leisure". So with a bit of luck & time on my hands, I should be able to get my ride on the road before the end of this year. I've only had it in the garage for 10 years :D!

I am a product designer/foundryman, spent a few decades in the corporate world until NAFTA screwed me over and lost my job to Mexico. Now I design and cast my own line of aluminum hot rod and custom one-off parts in the good ol' USA.......screw u NAFTA.

  25. Thank you Clunker, they are acrylic on stretched canvas. I do graphite pencil on paper drawings, watercolours too. Almost all drawn on site, with the car. Works hanging all over Australia. A few hang in New Zealand and USA too. 150306HRI-bw.jpg

20140617_092847.jpeg Until about 4 weeks ago I Sat on my Ass and looked out the window, I told lies to any one that would listen. I had trained for that job for 12 years in school. Now I sit on my Ass in the coffee look out the window and tell lies to any one that will listen. I had been doing that for 62 years, 50 years driving and 12 years training so I'm pretty dame good at it and don't see any reason to stop. It was bitter sweet watching my truck leave home with some young kid driving it. So now that i'm all grown up I got to figure out what I'm going to do now. I build Pratt & Whitney industrial turbines. These are powered by aero derivative jet engines like the J57, J75 and the JT8D

Small ones weigh in at about 8800 lbs and the big ones are right at 20,000 lbs.

I've been a police officer in So Cal for thirteen years now. I had this badge custom made for my 34 Chevy's dashboard. [IMG]
