  1. I like that 2nd pic. Ride height is just right & it looks great unchopped.

    Hello,
This sedan made an impression on me as a young teenager at Lions Dragstrip. I immediately went over to the sedan in the pits to see what the big commotion. Then when I heard it start and run for some tuning, I was hooked... I wanted to drive it (still too young to drive...) I told my brother that we should build something like that cool looking white sedan.

one year ago in another thread:
At Lions in 1959-60, there was this sedan that just made everyone look when it came to the line. It was once Koenig/Sundin sedan, Reath/Maillard (a great combo), and the Dosser Bros chopped sedan. Eventually, it became known as the Dosser/ Reath Automotive sedan. You could not walk by it in the pits without stopping to look at it. It had a white body, yellow frame, yellow wheels…what a set up. It was very loud and fast. Here is a compilation of the runs we were able to film at Lions.

Not much progress, but I did score some heads, a manifold and some headers.
    I better get after it.

I put about 40 miles on the car this weekend no real problems. Just a few bugs to work out. Not to bad for a fresh build.

  18. Picked this one up earlier this year. It was well on it's way to being ratted out, but it was stuck in a carport and abandoned for years. Last registered in 1960, but had a clean title.

The motor was locked up tight, as were the brakes. The frame was cut and cobbed up bad with a 12" Z. The price was right and the body didn't look too bad. I ordered a frame built from Boling Brothers, and blasted the body and put it in epoxy. This is where I'm at with it now at this point:

I got rid of the 283 and built this 327 with T-10 and posi 373 10 bolt rear. Should be a fun car when it's done.

Not sure who’s car this is, but it’s one of my favorites from the interwebz that I’ve stumbled upon a lot lately, looking for pics and motivation to get started on mine.
