    from Quincy,Ca.

Looks like a journey for sure, you should come through Quincy after leaving Penryn, you would have to re-route through hwy 70, instead of 80, but would be back on track in Reno. Have fun!

Hope to get to see you. Sounds like you have plans to stay with my folks in Piedmont S.D.

To drive all that distance and miss the best FREE car show on the West coast on Saturday morning in Huntington Beach, CA. called the "Donut Derelicts Car Show" is a shame. So, so close.

Haha I'm missing a lot of shows by a few days or a few hours drive on this trip. I've been to a regular Saturday morning hangout in HB before and it was pretty damn cool. When is this one ?

I have a car for Vermont now, that makes 48! I now have 1 week and 11 hours until I leave. Time to head out to the garage and get some more small stuff knocked out on the camper!

    Man, I'm a slacker!

I did complete the 9 week, 18,200 mile, 48 State trip where I shot photos of 48 different cars, attended 6 events and had a damn good time all in my 1963 Galaxie.

I've documented the whole trip on my site and I'm working on what's now a 220 page full color coffee table book that has a mini feature on each car and show plus some notes from the road and all of that fun stuff.

I'll post some photos from the trip with links to the pages of my site that has more photos. There's wayyyyy too much to be duplicating the posts here so I apologize for you having to click over to see them but I'm busy building the book right now!

The first state that I shot for the book was Indiana, that stop was with Mikey Brown's Kustom Upholstery in Deputy, IN- Click here to see the Indiana post

State 2 was in Kentucky where I shot photos with Lee Ingram - Click here to see the Kentucky post

State 3 was a stop in Walls, MS with Mike Neal - Click here to see the Mississippi post

State 4 was a stop with Don Searls in Conway, AR - Click here to see the Arkansas post

I'll try to remember to come back every day or so and add more!

    See you at a show,
