Technical 1940 / 41 Ford Truck Door Question - Glass Runs

    How do you remove the lower glass run felts from the channels inside the door.
    Do you pull up and out, or just pull straight out, or straight up?

    It's hard to see what is going on in there, and what keeps them in the tracks.

    On the felts, there are little "fingers" that slip into slots in the tracks. Lift up maybe a 1/2" or more, then pull away from the track.

    If you have trouble installing the anti rattle felts clip on push pins, I drilled holes in the anti rattle strip and used late model plastic push pins, they work great and stay in.

    The ones that I removed were riveted on.
