I went to the first show and swore I'd never go again, but the pictures topher5150 provided have me rethinking for next year.

Yeah a Corvette. It's mine. Allowed in by the rules by being a 1964.

Nope, I own the Vette, that is barely in the truck pic.

    Yep.
I finally found a chrome centerpiece for the grill, and added some stripes to break up the black paint.

I didn't even think about until you said something. I'm kind of surprised that they didn't have people put info in the windshield like they do at other shows

From the looks of it I think it was a Pontiac/Buick 3800 front clip/drive train. I couldn't find the pics of it but I've seen a T roadster that did something similar but put a Pontiac GTP drive train/suspension in the back

Yeah I would have gone with the supercharged version as well.

What a cool event! I'm sorry it is held the same weekend as the Woodward Dream Cruise, I'd like to do both!

I know, however it's tough being in two places at once.

This is only my opinion, but the Riot and Woodward are apples and oranges. Woodward is an event for the masses. The Riot is an event for us.

I thought about going a few years ago when we were in Ann Arbor, but I don't think my wife would have liked it if I left her in the hospital by her self to look at cars.
