Mark Yac: Thanks for the information. Is it not considered a town because of it's size? I know many areas are small and only known to locals who live there. Jimbo
Here it is! https://www.google.com/maps/place/R...xc4f522b338affc1b!8m2!3d41.5370936!4d-72.6999 Apparently it's considered to be a village within Middlefield, Ct. The residents seem to have cemeteries in their front yards. https://www.google.com/maps/@41.538...4!1slqjQ0iIZ3jW7iaKgsGMacQ!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
Back in the 60's it seemed like every gas station you drove past has a drag car sitting out front. I miss those day's more all the time. Jimbo
Found a BUNCH of my favorite classes but sadly they are mostly chevies. A small sample it's going to take awhile to get them all posted Yay a Ford
Boooooooooooo . Yea yea I know they "Took advantages with the rules" More that the Fords. Like hydros hummm.
I know this line has been used on here before, but to paraphrase my main man - Smokey Yunick - " I wasn't cheating, I just had a superior reading of the rules ".

Iron Horse II Lamplighter Too note race car in tow on back window, back in the flat towing days LOL Little Stocker at Milan Marv Ripes New Dogy
Bob "The Dog" Gaudreau... (notice the missing splash pan) ...Had a penchant for leaving parts off his car, as in the B/Stock final against Woodland- Andresen at Indy in 1966.
I have always liked looking at these 5 thru 7 stockers. And really like the wagons. But my question again is....Where are they all at now???
alphabet soup: My guess is many are sitting in someones garage and are not for sale because of the memories attached to them. I know that may sound crazy but I am one of those people and I have things I would never sell because each time I look at them I remember the good old day's and for me that's priceless! Jimbo
^^^And I get that!!!^^^ Still doesn't keep me from wondering. And sure would like to be the next care-taker of one!!
And they may/may not even be the exact same memories as you have. But someone keeping close the honor of someone else's.
Lamplighter Too belonged to a family member. It was sold to a guy in NJ in ready to race condition and he stripped it down and sent it to the crusher....unfortunately...
