I would appreciate someone giving me the following information on the counter balance spring for the rumble lid on a 39 ford convertible .
What is the total compressed length of the spring.
Dia. of the spring coils.
Dia. of the spring wire.

The body parts book calls for B-526910 This spring is pictured in the 38 hardware book and is 6 7/16 O.A.L. it is also used on 33-34 3W, Cabriolet, 5W, and the 38 Cabriolet.

 

Thanks a lot for your response . I am missing that spring and needed to know at least the length. For a place to start.
