    can i bolt an older sbc , 1950s 283 to be exact to my 1992 NV3500 trans. Help

    Yes it should bolt up. Might have to get crafty with the flywheel/clutch setup...

    I'm using one on my 283 with 10 in clutch in my roadster, works great.
     

  5. They aren't really made for pounding on but a good alternative to a Tremec if you come across one cheap. I was considering one for my car but I have a bunch wrapped up in the M20 and driveshaft.

    I have one behind a mild 350. Not many miles but no issues so far.
