And the cost was ? A lot of the 52-54 Ford guys used a fellow by the name of Roland Hall for hinge rebuilding please pass your info along in the 1952-59 Ford Social Group too.

Of course you painted the tailights on the inside right?

Great idea and workmanship for mounting the Sumbrero's. Where can I find those 3 bar spinner mount's?

  5. I forget the exact number. It was slightly cheaper than getting the remanufactured hinges but now they are much better quality. It was Roland who rebuilt mine. Excellent quality.

  7. Yes from the inside. Still holding up quite well.

  8. Small update, I've got the car at Bruns Kustom City doing some work to it right now. They are fixing my hood and door gaps, straightening the fenders, doors and roof, and customizing my grill and grill opening.
    A few progress pictures.

It should be done soon. I'll post more pictures when I get it back.

I got the car back in the garage. Now just have to mount up the narrowed grill Bruns did for me.

That's awsome. I have a few scratches on my car where my kids "helped" me work on my car. I wouldn't have it any other way.

  20. As it sits now in primer with the front end modifications. Not the best shot though.

I got the narrowed grill set in the opening yesterday. Now it's in there, it looks like it needs some more work to look right. The parking lights are both angled in and it looks to me like the center of the grill is angled down too much. I've gotta get this right or it will bug me forever.

Just dropped of all my stainless to get straightened and polished.

And picked out my final colors. Shooting the roof white this week. The body will come later. It will stay in grey primer for a little while till funds are available.
