Hot Rods Windshield Stanchion ID Help

    I just got a call from Robert Hamke about his 1951 Bonneville car
    He's back on the restoration
    He ask If I knew what these "Stanchions" came off of
    I do not...But I'm sure someone on here
    He has repaired the old ones but it looking for replacements

    Stanchions...much early repro stuff up into early '60's was cast aluminum. Those are '26-7 roadster lowers grafted to the hinge cup from something '30-32.

    Yeah...not flat enough for '27! Remember all the cast aluminum stuff in the catalogs before they tooled up for more serious attempts at replacement parts?

    Could be some "Orphan" Model roadster stanchions...has anyone seen one of these?
    Still trying to ID them
