I just purchased a brookville 32 dash for my 28 coupe .I have not received the dash yet but browsing the internet about installing it but really didn't find any info .I'm not using the stock tank should i cut it out ? I know there are guys on here that have installed these any info pictures or ideas are appreciated . Thank you
I think you're gonna have to remove the tank. Don't think you'll have room for any gauges behind it. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
memory says you will need to narrow it if it is a '32 made for a '32 truck... no trimming if it is a brookville '32 made for a '28-'29 car... pix of a '32 narrowed for a '30-'31 coupe if needed...
The dash bolts right in with the stock holes, fits really good. I cut the bottom of my tank out to use the available space for gauges and electrical. I hope the pictures are helpful. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I agree with what Aaron D. said. It fits right in,bolts up to the original holes. I cut out the gas tank so gauges would fit and used the Hanline gauge panel to finish it. the original top dash piece fits right over it.
