Seems to be a very early "rocket" version.

 

I was thinking I had more of these Japanese Indian ads. I just had to dig deeper.

 

Those are some beauties there. A few of them look like the artwork on the labels from packages of fireworks. Except they don't say "Lay on ground, light fuse and GET AWAY!"

Sorry about the hijack. What happened to Steffen? Every thing has vanished, can't PM etc.

 

I hope someone can tell us why he's been banned. I really enjoyed his post. He put a lot of time, in posting some very cool and interesting things. Sad

 

My thoughts as well. I hope it's just temporary if that is possible. He is a great asset to this site and our hobby.

Yes, It is sad that Steffen is gone. I don't think he intended to cross the sometimes invisible line. The ad art posted here helped promote original sales and production of many of the cars we lust for. Some adds inspired us to purchase products that helped the hot rod aftermarket be born. At any rate he'll be missed here. I hope the thread will stay.

 

To answer what happened to Steffen,I sent a moderator and was told me verbatim. HRP

Were all of Steffen's offenses on this thread or were they in other places too? He seems to have really ticked some of you off and I don't see that here unless it was in removed posts that I never saw. Is it OK to continue with this thread if it stays period car related?
