I am at the point to install my gauge panel to the dash board. It's been a long time. What is used to secure the gauge panel to the dash board, the studs are there, and is there a gasket that goes between the inside dash and front edge of the gauge panel. The gauge panel is deluxe model
    Thanks, Tony

  2. Tony, I don't have a gasket between the panel and my dash in either the 40 deluxe or my 40 truck.

On the studs, there should be a bout a 3" long flat piece of metal strap with a hole in the middle that holds the panel to the dash.

Thanks, I don't have the straps, looks like I need to make some.

    Correct. There is no gasket.
Wrap some electrical tape around the little straps for "anti'squeak" purposes.
DO NOT over tighten nuts or you will warp the dash. Use lock washers.
    Just snug.
