I found this one in a barn near Maple Park, Illinois. Original yellow and green paint, stripped but 99% of the parts were in the trunk. P5233973.JPG

Gizzy, Not sure. I bought it from someone in Kentucky. Sold it at the 2016 NSRA Nats in Louisville to someone from Michigan. Saw it at the 2017 NSRA Nats the guy from Michigan still owns it.

Hey there, the Australian Pontiacs and Chevys from 61 to about 66 I think shared a lot of parts. RHD dash ( different steering wheel) door hardware inside and out, electrical stuff, suspension parts . It made it easier for GM Holden to assemble the cars here without having to duplicate parts.

I bought this bone stock 64 from a workmate in the late 80's, 327/250 hp/3 speed on column.
Seems like I just can't leave things alone, put a Muncie 4 speed in it with a correct shifter.
Found an original used shift boot and trim ring and a factory column from a floor shift car, painted it with a fine texture matching paint, looked factory installed.
Put rallys and TA's on it, waxed it and drove it for a year, sure was fun rowing the gears.

My oldest brother isn't a computer guy, so here are some photos of his 59 Impala.

He just bought it last Tuesday, and took it out of almost 30 years of storage.

The fender skirts were the first things to go. They came off, right after it was loaded on the trailer. One of the items on the "to - do" list is a tube grill, as shown in the last photo. The last photo is of his first 59, which he drag raced back in the mid 1960's, and sold in 1967, to start dairy farming
