    Sibley and Hohman ave. Hammond Indiana. This is where the real "Christmas Story" took place. Jean Shepard was from Hammond. Just out of frame to the left was the Goldblatts department store referred to as I believe Higby's in the story. The parade was traditionally down Hohman ave. Great times.

    Used to be part of my regular cruising route. State Fair Board demolished it years ago.

    I've seen the white Pontiac. It is perfect and has a good story too.

  7. Gary - It's fun to look at the street pics & try to:
    Pick out the oldest car
    Pick out the newest car
    Try to identify as many as possible
    And decide which one I'd want to have the most.
