I got my new killer Stipe shocks in the other I lowered my front by taking out some leaves and reversed eye main leave That makes the shock arms not sit level It can't be good for the shock if it bottoms out. I junked the stock dogbone mount for these 2 pcs ones They are 1/2" shorter then the model A but still too long I cut them leaving room for one bolt. Tacked them back together All welded up Almost like Henry did it him self Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Excellent solution. Those shocks are beautiful. They almost look like they belong on the coffee table instead of the car. Stepping up and paying a fair price for a quality product sure tells the suppliers that there is a market for quality. I bought a set for my '31 RDPU. Charlie Stephens
Nice Job, very tidy. I made the same correction on my phaeton by heating and bending the shock arms. More than one way to skin that cat. (where did that expression come from?) Peace, Phred
I still might bend the fronts a bit to make them perfectly level. I think I need another 1/2" I still need to do the backs and that will definitely need a mix. But I have a new spring to put under it so it thing will change up a little so the back will have to wait Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Couldn't find any use of the phrase earlier than the 1840 Money Diggers reference, but I did find some background to which the saying might refer. Apparently the debate on cat-skinning boiled down to whether on not it was done while the cat was still alive. Here's a clip from the disturbing House of Commons' Minutes of Evidence Taken Before Committee on Bill for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 1832: Got to love the old I phone....
