They've got a lip around the wheel well (like the 36 Plymouth picture) but not as thick

  5. yup your right. I didn't notice that they have a peak in them as well. that makes me think they are for a coupe. Desoto maybe?

use google to search for images of cars you think they might be from. Be imaginative.

The slope on the back of the fender is wrong for mid 30s cars, it looks more like you'd see on a 39-40 era.

BOB - Not '36 Ford - they didn't have a hole in the side for gas filler

They look like '37 chev pickup rear fenders to me, but you own one so you should know :), whats different about them?

  15. Unless they have been modified the bead on the front edge should turn towards the front, and they look too stubby at the back and the back should have a peak not an even curve.

  16. The OP has started several threads on the main board lately pleading for help identifying parts and seeking a value.

    New sales ploy?

  17. The OP in las vegas needs help from the guys that know vintage tin.
    She's cool.

All those holes in the original post look liked they were hacked out, now that I look at it again.

I was referring to the hole on the side of the fenders in the pic you posts, Bob. Maybe I'm wrong.

One looks to have some patchwork done, so holes may not be original. Still can't figure it out though.

  21. '36 ford fenders don't have a bead around the bottom edge of the fender.

  22. I don't see any bead along the bottom edge!!

My guess is they are truck rear fenders! Put me down for an early 30s Dodge truck.

At least the left fender has been repaired. It appears to have had a hole welded shut higher on the fender then the two existing holes, and the mounting lip has breaks or cracks at regular intervals on the back 1/2 of the fender. Gene

I looked at lots of pics of dodge (and plymouth) pickup fenders, they don't match.

  25. Maybe you do need your meds changed the purple strip around the fender is a raised bead.

  28. 1936 Buick road master rear fenders that have been cut short at the running board side and holes patched and drilled for tail lights. Just a long shot but the peak and bead looks just like a 36 Buick I had.

  29. Well they are better than blow by. heh heh he sorry I couldn't help myself, reminded me of some old GFs
