    Simply incredible. What a small world us H.A.M.B.'rs live in. That was 50 years ago and if you were a teenager (13-19), that would put you somewhere between 63 and 69 today. I was 28 in 1966, I wonder what the chances are that we met and said hello?

  4. This car is still in existence in a private collection. Lived most of its early life on the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island.

    This one's all restored now & I saw it for sale a few years ago for $550K!

    Yep now I'm 68 back in those days it was one of my yearly treats from my non car loving father. Once to Connecticut Dragway once to the Autorama every year. He seemed to enjoy the car shows better. I was a bit shy so probably didn't talk to any of my heros displaying cars there.

    … yes great place for the area music scene .. Oh and black ca plates were a midyear DMV release for 1963 replacing the yellow plates that had been used since 1956 ...
