  15. Lots of light colored coupes in the show pics above. Love them just wish they were in color. For some reason I picture them all in baby blue like 39 guy's Uncle Mike build. Any other light color guess beside Folkstone and baby blue?

I think a light yellow color was popular during that time period. I almost changed my mind (to yellow) shortly before painting the coupe but I am glad I stayed with the plan and painted it baby blue. A large majority of people that comment on the car love the color . The die hard traditionalist are nice enough to not give me negative feedback. I think white was a popular color in the early 60's also.

Unusual to see a '40 Tudor on a low rake. Looks great!

I was at auto tech two year program in the early 60s. My roommate had a '36 3W Ford done in baby blue with a 389 Poncho tripower. Man I lusted after that car and at night under the sodium street lamps on campus, the color became "groovy and intense" to use the venacular of the day.

the choice of wheels keeps this from being OT for me, but I declined to show engine compt or interior shots which were. I just like the low sweet lines of a '40 convert

the 1940 Woodie, and matching trailer with California "cute" license tags. This one has been photographed many times but it does make a statement.
