SOLD! I have roadster fever, and I'm kicking around the idea of selling my 5w coupe to buy or build a 32 roadster. I would also consider a trade up or down for the right steel bodied roadster. This is an original henry steel car with original grill shell and firewall. Roof never chopped or filled. Has functioning cowl vent, and opening windshield. It has early thick fiberglass fenders front and rear. The build of the car started in 1968 and was finished in 1973. It has had the same owner up until 2016. It has some of the typical 70's resto rod touches, but I have been slowly giving it a more traditional favor. The older pictures below are of the car when purchased and build pics from the late 60's. It was a channeled hot rod sometime in the 50's. Good body that fortunately escaped the smoothie street rod look of the 90's. It has the original 32 frame that has been updated with a boxed center section and 4 linked P&J suspension front and rear. The front is a stock 32 axle that has been dropped. I have added F100 drum brakes and dual master cyl under the floor. The rear is an 8" Ford. Mustang steering box. Drivetrain consists of a mild 350 and 350 automatic trans. Wheels are original Ford 4" front and 4.5" back with brand new Coker Firestones. Car was upholstered in 73 and is somewhat dated, but still looks great. Nice stock dash and chrome garnish moldings. Car was originally a rumble seat, so it has the roll down rear window that still functions. The paint was updated in 1987 and still looks good as well. A few chips and imperfections as to be expected, but very nice for the age! The car has logged 27,000 miles on it since it was built and will log several thousand more this summer if I keep it. I am planning on taking it to Louisville KY for the NSRA Nats in a few weeks. I really only want to sell the car so that I can get a roadster, this is not a fire sale or something I am pushing hard, so no low balls, or other trade offers please. Located in St. Louis, MO
