    Hello,
    This photo is pretty famous as the world renown photographer, Leroy Grannis caught some Huntington Beach locals just arriving at the HB Pier for an early morning session. In the background, is the fabulous Golden Bear concert venue where many great rock bands from the 60's played there. (small, intimate, outstanding sound...could not get any better.)

    We saw Janis Joplin in 1968 playing with The Big Brother and The Holding Company. It was a concert to be remembered...She was singing just steps away from our small table. She walked up to each of the tables while rocking out her famous songs. It was quite some night...

    The waves in 1961-62 were pretty outstanding, too... The HB Pier, a great place to watch the surfers and waves.

    Nope. 53 Buicks had PS standard, PB was a $55 option, A/C was a $594 option and the new V8 got better than 10 MPG. Buick club member.
