Hi fellow Hambers. I would like to have an auction for Tiger Allison where all of the proceeds will go directly to him and his family. I have discussed this with Bill (aka Novatattoo) who is Tiger's bud . Bill told us all of the horrible news and started the "fund me" thread for Tiger. Bill thought it was a great idea so here I go. What I would like to do is put up for auction to the highest bidder ONE pair of my new externally mounted tail light designs. I have just recently designed these and they have just come out of my foundry. These designs use '50 Pontiac tail light components, my custom cast bezels (that have been available) and new cast buckets which are making their debut now. These units were designed to fit '37 Ford tail light stands but they can be mounted anywhere as the pictures will show. In addition I will throw in a pair of modified Model A stands that allow them to mount directly to an 'A. To summarize and clarify here is what the winner will get: - A pair of custom cast tail lights of EITHER design. - Each assembly measures 4.25" dia x 6.50" long, (by comparison '37 Ford buckets measure 3.50" dia x 5.50" long) - The lights will consist of all of the following components: - Cast aluminum bezels and buckets with a hand polish finish. - Repro '50 Pontiac tail light internals (choice of standard or blue dot lenses. - Modified Model A tail light stands. The winner will pay Bill (novatattoo) directly. We will let the auction run for 7 days ending at 10 pm eastern time next Tuesday July 25th. It looks like McMopar is the auction winner of the custom tail lights! Congrats and a huge THANK YOU! I really appreciate your generosity McMopar and everyone who bid and helped raise this money for Tiger. You guys are some really cool people. I am sure he and his family will be thrilled so many people showed how much they care about him. I am thrilled to have been able to donate my designs to such a worthy cause. Thank you again....Everyone! Someone asked myself and novatattoo if they could donate other items. I think we both agree that would be awesome to keep this thing going for Tiger.
Nice job on the auction for the lights. This shows that there still is good hearted gearheads helping each other. On the race track or in personal parts of our lives. Hats off to all HAMBers. GOD BLESS.

Those are great looking lights. I like that there are just enough subtleties to indicate that they are hand wrought and crafted art work.
Thanks Shift! A lot goes into designing and casting these hand wrought lights so I appreciate the kind words.....BTW if anyone would like to continue with this auction thread by placing another item up for bid go for it! It is for a great cause for one of our own.
