Well, last night around 9pm when we went to load the car we discovered an ominous crack in the trailer. After some help from the neighbor and a trip to the welding shop this morning we got on the road at 9:15am instead of the planned 4am. As long as Jeff doesn't do anything else to his voodoo doll of Yesterday's Child, we're hoping to make it to the track before they lock the gates at 10pm

The schedule says Gates open at 10am for spectators. Does anyone know if they hold it down to the minute???? If I show up at 9:30/9:45 will they let me in early????

  6. So the Okie Doker put down his Child voodoo doll, and now he's stabbing knitting needles into the neck of his "Panneton's motor home" doll. A/C is acting up

Not to rain on your parade, but it is probably 100 Low lead. Just so you can be an informed shopper.

Don't be rubbin' it in man, we're looking at a 12:30 am arrival at the earliest. We might need to pitch your velocity stack out the window to save some weight! ...or maybe we need to install it on the motorhome for a few extra ponies!

We arrived today and left track about 630. They told us the gates would be open between 8-9 tomorrow. To be safe they told me 9.

  24. 20170713_195657.jpg 20170713_195753.jpg Tony the shoot went great. Scott took over a thousand photos and it took over two hours. The mosquitoes got bad at the end. Stop by when you can. Just a heads up the track would not honor my ihra licence. I will have to do licence passes to get a nhra one or i cant run. There goes another 250.00

We didn't make the 10pm cutoff so we'll be camping across the street from the track and hopefully first through the gates tomorrow. Gonna be pulling in a little after midnight, 1 hour to go.

About 400 cars came in yesterday... the place is damn near full.

  28. There is already so much cool stuff here you have to see it to believe it. If you are on the fence about attending do the right thing now. Call in sick to work and make the drive. You wont be disappointed.
