Went to change the gears last night ad found the Auburn locker we installed before the First 20 Years is broken! Ordered a new posi, will be here tomorrow then new gears and bearings! Going to be a few late nights!

  2. Good thing you found it now with a few days to fix it.

Yep...my wife was not to happy I bought a new posi. Until I explained to her that if the locker broke it could have cause a serious accident. With Carly at the wheel!

Leaving work at 2am for a 5:20am flight tomorrow morning from LAX to Charlotte to help Ric finish packing the RV/whatever else needs to be finished then we leave about 4am Thursday morning for Byron. Should be there late afternoon/early evening as long as no road gators jump up and shred one of the RV tires like last year and cost us an extra couple of hours. Safe travels everyone!

Just wrapped up a fun filled night (got home at 3:12am) of re-installing flywheel/clutch/bellhousing/Trans/driveshaft.....Flaked out on the headers when my brain quit working.
Going to button up the headers, put the final adjustments in the clutch linkage, and finish up the airbag install in the morning, test drive it,and get the new slicks mounted right after lunch:)
    Here's how I left it:

The secret is to jack up the back of the hood and make a pan to seal the carb to the bottom of the hood that is open to the back of the hood.
It lets the bad H/P out and the good H/P in.

  18. When we drove 40 hours straight out from California, in 2014, I'll never forget my brother saying as we drove through Wyoming in the middle of the night, "well, the good news is, we've gone 1000 miles, the bad news is, we're only half way there"!:( Safe travels Squirrel, and everyone else.

I got all my swap meet stuff loaded last night. This afternoon I will load my camping stuff and get on the road. we are going to go part of the way then get a room somewhere then come the rest of the way tomorrow.

    I have another question.
will I be able to leave in the evening to go to the store or to get something to eat or do we need to pack everything we are going to need?

enloe you should be able to leave and return.
The good thing about this track is it;s not as big as Bowling Green so the foot time will make it easier to check it all out.

Okay guys we need to start keeping this under raps......the price of fuel just took a 21 cents per gallon rise.
I got lucky and found a station that still had it at 1.94 /9
