Hello I'm just wondering if anyone can help I'm try to keep my outside door handles on my 49 and use them with the bear claws can this be done. Any help would do thanks Sent from my SM-N910T using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Everything I've seen says you can't use the stock outside handles with bear claw latches. No way, no how. The inside, however, seems to be able to work just fine. Not sure why that is, just haven't ever seen it done. I intend to use Lincoln door buttons on mine.

Hi Karl watching this as have heard the same , even says so on shoebox central , hard work checking cars out this side of the pond . A mate has been looking at bear claws on a 48 chevy truck and putting the unit in opposite sides with a cable run round the inside of the door , food for thought will watch you both
