  8. Did the Windsors ever have a zero balance damper? I thought all the early Windsors were 28 oz, and the later Windsors were 50 oz. Could that be a 6-cyl damper? I am pretty sure the 6's were zero-balance engines. I am only a half-Ford guy ;)

Hey Doug, I understand that there are several groups at the track renting helmets. If you can't replace your helmet in time, you should come no matter what. Something will work out.

Hey dodge boy. This is a race piece. The early ones were all 28oz and late were 50. I think this is a neutral balance for internally balanced assy. This guy did run big six fords on nitro. Maybe you're right.

    55belair. Thank you

  25. The nitro start up went fine. Its in the trailer awaiting sundays testing. Nothing crazy just a few easy hits. Its more about going through the motions.

  27. Mid nines through the mufflers last fall. We are shooting for 8.99. Due to the 7.9 compression and a cam degreed in at 112 there is no cylinder pressure to speak of. Its the wrong way to build a blown gas engine. On nitro thats a different story. The gas deal is just so i can do drag week and ride it in to work when i want or take my wife for a ice cream cone. We might convert the car back over to gas on sunday for a few hits during the meltdown.
