Found this in Iowa in a farmers machine shed along with a 26 T Coupe and a 23 T Touring. Wheels were crap so I put the 35 wires with WW on to roll it out onto the trailer. My son cleaned it up before I could get some good barn find dust pictures. This may end up losing its fenders and getting a Flathead.

I'm no purist, but I'd keep those fenders. Looks so classy

My next one will have fenders and the very custom looking No Chop Top. Nice find!

I love seeing the add-on improvements like the bar across the rear bumpers that were done back then. Nice car and I too like the fenders on it. Keep us posted on progress.

Sweet trailer hitch! I'm a fan of fenders and no chop, too.

Just traded a few items for a 1921 Center Door Doctors Coupe, so I am looking to move this one along. Going to post it in the For Sale section.

Excellent wood throughout, comes with eight original wheels with tires along with a set of wire wheels and tires that will be removed.

    IMO only ;
run the front fender for awhile...
till you can find a nice patinaed fender...
paint a thin maroon line along the dent's crease...
then paint short perpendicular black strips every so far so it looks like stitches...
if asked tell 'em the car had belonged to an old hockey player...

    Nice score , that coupe's a beauty! - and I'm a fender fan too ( and UN-CHOPPED)
Maybe re-do the suspension a little, put in the flattie with a '39 tranny ( or a 5 spd) and drive the wheels off it.
    Those are EXTRA wide whites!!

  21. A Center Door is not a coupe and Ford never built a car called a Doctors Coupe

    Sedan, Doctor Coupe common description.

  23. A center door is always referred to as a sedan, never a coupe and, definitely never a doctors coupe. Just trying to keep the facts in place. People often call "T" coupes, Doctor's Coupes, though Ford never did.
Funny that no one ever calls "A" coupes, Doctor's coupes. I guess by '28, doctors made more money and could afford a proper sedan

My "A" was a Doctors coupe. Until he sold it.

Yup, lose the fenders, like in the rafters of the garage. No 5" chop, stick with 3". About the perfect proportion for a 31 cpe. Flatty, check. Dropped axle, check. Split bones, check. Center the wheels in the rear openings. As cliche' as they seem lately I think a quicky will be in order at least some day. As to all of the above, well, just sayin...

Nice score. I might even hate you just a wee bit;)
