don't know how i missed this but i did, love it! i remember seeing it in the Tex smiths book and thought the headlight bar looked familiar when i saw the first pic!

 

Love this post! Laughed my ass off! I posted the video on post #32 I believe. But here it is again! Haha No updates for the roadster still. Trying to save up some money but I need to get going on this thing soon!

Hard to believe this thread was started 5 years ago. I thought I would bump this to see if any progress has been made?

Also I recently purchased this colour slide from '53-'54, definitely an earlier version of your roadster @t_wood_08 .

 

No progress has been made on the car. I actually ended up selling it to my father-in-law so I could buy another car that came up for sale. He is thinking about selling the roadster now if anyone is interested private message me. This is what the car looks like now minus the tires. It has old firestone rollers on it now.

Had fun talking with the new owner this past weekend and it was great to see the roadster back on the strip making some passes! Love the headers on the car.

 

I live a few miles from Dayton and have never heard of the Harvest Drags. Where was this held and is this a yearly event?
