Went to our local Cruise-in at Arby's restaurant yesterday that happens every first Sunday of the month. There were about 115 registered cars and a whole lot more that were not. Weather was about 92 degrees but the humidity was not to bad and most of the time we had cloud cover with a little breeze. Very nice day and got to see some old friends and some bad ass cars and trucks. .
Looks like a fun event, some nice traditional rides in the mix and some real interesting non traditional rides.
WOW! Your Arbys looks like a hopping place. 115 cars seems like a really good turnout to me. Thanks for the pictures. The last Arby's I went to on 22nd street in West Des Moines had terrible service. There was only the manger lady and two other employees working and I felt so sorry for that manager. She was trying so hard to get everything done but the 2 other people moved like snails. There were a dozen people in line behind us and only 2 of those stayed because service was so slow. I also saw people leaving the drive through. I wouldn't have blamed that manager if she would have thrown up her hands and run out of the place screaming. They seriously need more people working.
You couldn't get 115+ cars in the Fresno area at a monthly show if you were handing out $100 dollar bills.
Our Arby's shares a Hugh parking lot with Best Buy and a few other stores. Always seem to have good turn outs.
Well....we decided to get new chairs and an umbrella and see how that goes. The chairs are awesome. New rear fenders this Fall, new paint job next year, and AC after that.
